Each capsule includes at least 2 x 109 colony forming units.2 The lactic acid bacteria strains have GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status.2 Linex® Forte comes in gelatin-free, polysaccharide capsules. Linex® Forte is used to prevent and treat diarrheas, distention and other digestive disorders that have been caused by:
- Viral and bacterial infections, including traveler’s diarrhea. The probiotic strains in Linex® Forte have been shown to have clear beneficial effects in reducing the duration of acute, infectious diarrhea in both adults and children.3
